Surface Designer & Illustrator
I started my career as a graphic designer and animator at a software development studio. Creating animated ecards for clients and in house promo pieces were my favorite projects. With years of web & graphic design under my belt, I have went back to my first true love, illustration.
I moved from the Desert Southwest to the beautiful Pacific Northwest-- Seattle, WA . I like to incorporate tribal and southwestern elements in unexpected ways and absolutely adore florals.
Process
I sketch most of my original concepts. Then I might either ink and scan in or maybe decide to paint with watercolor or gouache. I like the vector look in illustrator, but can also love the handmade touch of paint. Sometimes I will combine the two in my pattern design and illustrations.
